
Blackwell
House Museum WEBSITE
The Blackwell House, the oldest
home in Canton, was built in 1886 for Henry F. Blackwell
II, his wife and eight children. Blackwell, an early
merchant in Canton, also served as County Sheriff. Many
alterations and changes were made to the house through
the years, including addition of several rooms.
Continuously occupied by Blackwell family members until
1975, the house was donated to the city in 1988 by
descendants of the original occupants. Please call for

Wired Zipline Course Challenge WEBSITE
WIRED
is a unique zip line challenge course combining
thrills, safety, easy access, and the beauty of rural
Texas terrain. Our course is located on twenty acres
of rolling meadow along a meandering creek.
The
WIRED course itself consists of over 3,500 feet of cable
to ride. Their four long lines range from 650 feet in
length to over 1,000 feet. The launch platforms and
towers are made of industrial-grade steel and are
connected to one another by sturdy rope sky bridges. The
zip wire on which you’ll ride is 1/2” ultra-strong
aircraft cable. All of these are inspected for safety
daily by the WIRED team.
